George Washington University Hospital

Washington, DC

The George Washington University Hospital has a century-long tradition of providing quality medical care in a comfortable and convenient environment for a diverse group of patients, from area residents to visiting dignitaries and heads of state. As a provider of multidisciplinary, tertiary care, George Washington is a technologically advanced hospital of world-renown quality,

The new hospital opened in 2002. NFP was proud to be the fire protection contractor on this world famous hospital. This project was developed based upon plans and specifications, with NFP working closely with the District of Columbia to ensure adherence to local fire and NFPA codes. The scope of work consisted of wet and dry pipe sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, and fire pumps. Construction required a high end installation to compliment the building’s architectural details.
